Angela Di Bello, Gallery Director, Brings to Agora Gallery over
25 years of experience in the New York art market, as a private and corporate
fine art consultant and as a fine art administrator; representing artists and
placing their work with many Fortune 500 companies including AT&T, British
Airways, The Federal Reserve Bank of NY, and Pfizer Corp Inc, as well as
prominent private art collections. As the director of the prestigious Gallery
at Lincoln Center, Ms. Di Bello was instrumental in developing the careers of
numerous artists; placing paintings, sculpture, and photography with
significant collectors. While at Lincoln Center, she also established the
Metropolitan Opera Guild Print Program.
Maria LaCava , Exhibition Coordinator, is a graduate of Plattsburgh State University of New York with a major in Art History and a minor in Cultural Anthropology. Maria has also studied Publishing at New York University, Contemporary British Art in London, England; and Rudimentary Italian Language in Florence, Italy, and printmaking at the Lower East Side Printshop. Maria has previously worked in Children’s book publishing and in Graphic Design.
Joyce Asper , PR Coordinator,
having begun her professional career in the field of genetics, Joyce left the world of scientific research for that of artistic creation. Art and science both involve careful planning, intuition, imagination and research. She has brought those skills and vast experience in Public Relations to her current position at Agora Gallery.
Julie Wilson, Graphic Designer, is a graduate of the Chelsea School of Art & Design, London. An artist in her own right Julie has vast experience in the world of graphics and web design.
Sabrina Abuelouf, Assistant Director, is a graduate of Boston University with a major in Painting and a minor in Art History. Sabrina has also studied studio arts at Scuola Internazionale di Grafica in Italy, and has established an avid appreciation for art in her travels abroad. Previously, Sabrina has worked as a studio assistant and in the service industry.
Mary Ellen Henderson, Gallery Assistant, is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a major in History and minor in Art History. Previously she has worked in retail and other service industries and has traveled throughout Europe.
Krista Biedenbach, Gallery Assistant, is a graduate of Stony Brook University with a Bachelor’s degree in Art History and a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art, with a focus in Printmaking. Krista has also studied for many years under illustrator Jeffrey Fisher. Previously, Krista has worked in a gallery on Long Island. In her spare time, Krista enjoys teaching children’s art classes.
Daniel Cavazos Staff Photographer, is a self taught photographer living in Brooklyn, NY. His interest in photography stems from four years of traveling in a band throughout the United States and Canada. Gallery Interns:
Agora Gallery provides internship program opportunities
to art students and other individuals who are interested in having hands
on experience working in a fine art gallery environment. Intern
participation is diverse and includes general gallery duties, assisting
with reception parties, conducting various types of research, and
marketing projects. Graphic design interns are given hands on experience
creating marketing material and producing ARTisSpectrum magazine.
Minimum internship period is three (3) months, three (3) days a week,
eight (8) hours a day = a minimum of twenty four (24) hours a week.
There is no compensation for internship. Please do not apply if you can
