| Anna Stein lives in Paris for the past thirty years. Her work is oriented toward history, poetry, myth and emotion. Her paintings evoke a dialogue between form and color-powerful and sensuous anthropomorphic figures depicted with dazzling colors. Stein's work, influenced by Tintoretto and also by abstraits of our century, creates a sense of discovery and revelation in a style that does not dit into any contemporary artistic movement or category. Her sculptures in bronze are int the same muvement with sucsess.
