I have no words to thank you and your staff.Everyone I dealt with at Agora Gallery has been so efficient and friendly.Pity I couldn't meet you all in Person.I was very pleased to hear a painting of mine was sold during the exhibition and any other reviews and comments are very welcome. I have just been offered a contract of exclusivity with a Gallery in Dubai where I will be suppliying them with Artwork for a year.A lot has to do , I am sure ,with the fact that I was exhibiting in New York.Yes, New York certainly has opened doors for me.

I thank you for your email and the sound advice you've offered.

I can tell you I have made good use of the PR and reviews that I have received through my relationship with Agora Gallery through 2006 and 2007. As a result, I now have many private collectors, a corporate client, an internationally positioned architectural firm and an interior design firm all collecting and representing my work. I have been approached by many galleries across the country and at this time I am booked several years ahead. Most importantly for me is the fact that private collectors are placing requests for paintings that require them to wait up to a year and they are OK with that restriction. These buyers have given me a financial security that is very appreciated.

This is just a brief summary of where I find myself and I certainly owe a great deal to the exposure and credibility that Agora Gallery provided. I have also of course worked hard to raise my profile here through media interviews, television programming and advertising.

In Google my name is mention almost 400.000 times. There is no other Norwegian artist who match that number! Me and my agent have received many phones and emails from buyers. Three large Norwegian newspapers are writing about me because of the exhibition in New York. A TV-producer is also planning making a documentary about me and my art of work. I`m selling many paintings! T.H.

Things are really looking good with this next show. Some people wanted to buy a piece before the show even went up. I could not ask for more. The two other sales came from people responding to my web page by word of mouth.

With the recent success, and if it continues, I would be interested in another year representation when my representation expires in May. I hope you are well and thanks for all of your support. D.T.

I want to thank you for all that is happening to me now.

I had 4 paintings in Oslo council-house together with several “not yet artists”. The local art-association, came and saw my paintings (They have heard that I had been in New York …)

They have never before had an exhibition for one without the right education, and now they asked me if I would like to have an exhibition in their name! I said thank you, and the really helped me with everything. So yesterday I had an opening with 15 mirror-pictures. Yesterday I had a hole page in the biggest paper covering our area. And I am on local TV for two weeks, in two programs going several times.

It is special to feel accepted in my own hometown. I have also been asked to join the Lions exhibition in Nittedal.

Congratulations on a fabulous reception.  I was not completely sure of what to expect but it certainly turned out much more grand than anything I thought of.  It was nice to meet other fellow artists and to share our lives a bit.  It's amazing how much we do have in common.  My friends and family were all very impressed by the professionalism and artistic knowhow that went into putting this event together. 

I am fortunate to be connected with Agora.

I'm home, after a wonderful trip to New York . I wanted first to thank you very much again for the work that you and everyone at Agora Gallery are doing to promote my work. I also wanted to let you know that I very much enjoyed the talk we had during the opening reception last Thursday. I enjoyed getting to know you better and discussing your ideas about art and the various ways it functions in the world. I was especially moved by your response to the painting that reminded you of September 11 th . You also talked about the fact that art transcends many worlds and I loved seeing artists and art work from all over the world during the reception. It was of course wonderful to spend the week in New York and to get to experience what is going on in the art world there. After spending much of the week looking at galleries all over Manhattan , I came away very pleased to be represented by Agora Gallery. V.L.
